We Being News 는 회원 가입 없이 읽습니다. 계정이 생기는 것은 시민기자로 신청한 경우뿐입니다.

시민기자 탈퇴

앱에서: MY → 위빙 시민기자 → 오른쪽 위 메뉴(⋮) → 시민기자 탈퇴. 바로 처리됩니다.
앱이 없으면: 문의하기(종류 "기타")나 support@webeingnews.com로 가입한 휴대전화번호 또는 이메일과 함께 "시민기자 탈퇴"를 보내 주세요. 본인 확인 뒤 7일 안에 지웁니다.

지우는 것: 이름, 휴대전화번호, 이메일, 기자증 사진, 동네, 한 줄 소개, 아직 실리지 않은 기사와 사진, 로그인 계정(Firebase).
남는 것: 이미 신문에 실린 기사는 공개된 보도라 글쓴이를 "탈퇴한 시민기자"로 바꿔 남깁니다. 기사도 내리기를 원하면 함께 적어 주세요. 평가 참여 수는 이름 없는 숫자로만 남습니다.

앱 이용 기록

익명 이용자 번호에 묶인 읽은 지면·반응·관심 주제는 앱 MY에서 지울 수 있고, 위와 같은 방법으로 서버 기록 삭제도 요청할 수 있습니다. 후원 결제는 Google Play 가 처리하고, 우리가 받은 구독 기록(상품·기간)은 전자상거래법에 따라 구독이 끝난 뒤 5년간 보관합니다.

Delete your account and data

Reading We Being News needs no sign-up. An account exists only if you applied as a citizen reporter.

In the app: MY → We Being citizen reporters → menu (⋮) at the top right → Leave citizen reporters. It takes effect immediately.
Without the app: send "Delete citizen reporter account" with the phone number or email you registered, through the contact form or to support@webeingnews.com. We delete it within 7 days after confirming it is you.

Deleted: name, phone number, email, card photo, neighborhood, intro, unpublished stories and photos, and the sign-in account (Firebase).
Kept: stories already published stay as public reporting, credited to "Former citizen reporter" — ask us if you also want them taken down. Review counts remain only as anonymous numbers. Support payments are processed by Google Play; the subscription record we receive (product and period) is kept for 5 years after it ends, as required by Korean e-commerce law.

Reading history tied to the anonymous app ID can be cleared in the app's MY tab, or you can ask us to delete it on the server in the same way.
