Support subscription
It's not a subscription, it's support.
We Being News does not sell articles. Every page is free for everyone. A support subscription is not a payment to see more — it is regular support that keeps an ad-free paper built on public data and cross-checking coming out.
$1 a monthFor the price of a sip of coffee a month, you keep a paper going.
$7 a yearOnce a year — save over 40% compared to monthly and stay with us longer.
Actual prices in each country (KRW and others) are set by Google Play. Cancel anytime — the paper stays free to read.
How support is used
- Verification — AI processing costs for cross-checking reports and matching numbers and dates against the originals.
- Public data — connecting and updating public data such as Korea Policy Briefing, Gov24, the Bank of Korea and the weather service every day.
- Collective intelligence — citizen reporters: readers report what happens in their neighborhood, and registered citizen reporters check it together before it goes out.
For our supporters
New convenience features open to supporters first. But the paper's content is the same for everyone, supporter or not.
You can support us in the Android app under MY → "About We Being News" (app 1.1 or later).
