What it means for me
More rest shelters on streets to escape the cold and faster snow removal will make commuting easier.
During heavy snow on commute routes, subway and bus frequencies may be delayed up to 60 minutes, reducing waiting time.
Delivery workers and mobile workers can use 24-hour unmanned shelters and convenience store dining areas as rest spaces.
Seniors needing care will be included in welfare check-in targets, and low-income households will receive 50,000 won in winter aid.
